1. About Harbor

Harbor ("Harbor", "we", "us", "our") is a life-admin application operated by Harbor Works. By creating an account or using Harbor, you are entering into an agreement with Harbor Works.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use Harbor, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, and, if using Harbor on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. The service

Harbor helps individuals keep track of bills, subscriptions, renewals, documents, and reminders. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Harbor within the plan you have selected, for your personal or internal business use only.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Harbor. Without limitation, you must not:

  • Use Harbor for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
  • Upload malware, attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the service.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive source code from Harbor.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service, or circumvent any usage limits.

6. Payment, subscriptions, and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; see our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual property

Harbor Works retains all right, title, and interest in and to Harbor, including all software, documentation, and branding. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant Harbor Works a limited licence to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the service to you.

8. Service level and warranties

We aim to keep Harbor available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harbor Works' aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of Harbor will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Harbor Works from any claim arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Harbor if:

  • You materially breach these Terms;
  • Payment for your subscription fails or is not received;
  • Your use poses a security, fraud, or legal risk to us or other users; or
  • You repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules.

You may stop using Harbor at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We may retain and delete your data as described in our Privacy Notice.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the service or by email. Continued use of Harbor after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Harbor Works is established. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

14. Contact
